New office in Ireland for Parva Consulting: Expanding international consultancy reach in Europe

Parva consulting office

From Milan, the excellence of Management Consulting to Financial Services also comes to Dublin

Milan, Dublin, 17 September 2018 – Parva Consulting SpA, an Italian company dedicated to Financial Services consultancy, announced the opening of a new office in Dublin starting from September 2018.

The presence of a local team in Ireland, a key market for Parva’s customers, will expand the Company’s international offering and support  Global Customers who have an operational footprint in Ireland, and strengthen its capacity to respond to needs of the UK & Ireland market.

Between Milan and Dublin, the team will work as a one team, with the aim of bringing the most suitable skills to each project. In Ireland, as in Italy, the Parva team will work with International clients, local financial institutions, and Italian operators present in the territory.

The focus of activities will be those specific skills that made Parva well known in Italy: Providing Project, Program and Change Management support to  Asset Management, Securities Services and Insurance clients.

The addition of Stephen O’Brien, a new partner who will manage the Dublin office, will allow Parva to further strengthen these skills by enriching them with his experience in Program Management and Business Transformation.  He joins the 4 Senior Partners who since 2005 lead a team of over 35 consultants in Parva.

Stephen O’Brien, Partner Parva who will lead the Dublin Office, said: “I am excited to embark on this new adventure that combines my own industry experience on the client side with a chance to develop this strategic market for Parva. Being a smaller niche consulting firm helps us avoid losing our focus and puts our clients at the centre of what we do – project delivery with knowledge of the business”.

Alessandro Viviani, Partner and founder of Parva, added:”The strengthening of Parva will allow us to further enrich and diversify our pool of expertise and to position ourselves with our clients as an international provider of consulting services. Furthermore, we will provide even more interesting growth and challenge opportunities for our potential future employees and strengthen our training program. We are confident we can offer a competitive advantage by bringing our customers direct knowledge of the best practices and opportunities of other markets”.

About Parva Consulting

We founded Parva Consulting in 2005 by combining the professional approach of management consulting with the domain knowledge of Financial Services. We are a consulting boutique focused on the Financial Services industry and we work with our customers throughout Europe to effectively ensure the identification, design and implementation of customised solutions that enable them to deal adequately and promptly with the challenges of the market they operate. Relying on our strong sectoral skills (including Asset & Wealth Management, Investor Services, Insurance, Credit, Fintech), we support clients in the management of end-to-end transformation, collaborating in the analysis and delivery of the right solutions. From our offices in Milan and Dublin, we are constantly striving to enrich our pool of skills, in line with the evolution and needs of the financial services market across Europe.

In 2018 the Asset Management industry accounted for almost a third of our turnover; the remaining coming from Securities Services, Insurance and Banking. Our niche in the consulting world has had a growth rate of 25% in the last four years: almost five times compared to the Management Consulting sector as a whole. The objective of the next few years is to build upon this success with the launch of our new Dublin office.
