OUR ROLE

– Project Manager

– Test Manager (and executor)

– Support as Subject Matter Experts

An international Loan & Leasing company selected Parva Consulting to oversee a digital transformation initiative that would enable all its business divisions to function under a unified framework, while being locally compliant.

OBJECTIVES:

  1. Implement a common operating model (platforms, processes, products) for all business units where the client is active
  2. Develop an integrated and solid solution leveraging specific functionalities of different systems
  3. Standardize the reporting (balance sheets, local market forecasts, financial data, …) that each business unit provides to the central Head Office

CHALLENGES:

  • Make the target platforms compliant with local regulation (Loan sharking, AML, Regulatory Reporting, Credit Quality, …)
  • Standardize the processes according to different business needs
  • Migrate data to the target platform ensuring a smooth transition

THE SOLUTIONS

  1. Project management support
to orchestrate local activities and analysis in Italy with central Head Office and top management
  2. Subject Matter Experts support
to define business requirements of all local regulatory topics
  3. Test management support
to coordinate and track test execution, track/highlight defects and monitor implementation of changes/bug fixes

THE RESULTS

Parva assisted the migration effort at different levels: project management, subject matter expertise and business analysis, managing challenges, coordinating communication, and dealing with resource constraints on both sides to ensure delivery on schedule as planned.

The client was able to go-live with the new operating model fully compliant with the local regulation, improving the overall business process efficiency and supporting their business growth.

The Parva project team secured the achievement of project goals and supported the client during the transition.

CONCLUSION

The client consolidated multiple systems on a single global platform, increasing efficiencies, reducing risk, digitising operations and improving their clients’ experience.

Parva managed the project by responding quickly and efficiently to all issues using the tailored Parva team-members’ expertise and experience.
